City of Kawartha Lakes
Kawartha Child Care Services offers 3 unique early learning and care programs in the City of Kawartha Lakes. Our programs are all licensed by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services.
Our Lindsay Program, located in St. Dominic Elementary School offers licensed child care for children 18 months to 12 years, along with a fun filled summer camp for children 6 to 12 years. The Lindsay program operates from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. This past year was exciting as we opened a brand new Best Start program for JK/SK children.
Our Discovery Space Program is a satellite program of the Lindsay Program. This unique program is located in the Adult Education Centre and operates from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. We are licensed for children 6 weeks to 12 years.
Our Rolling Hills Program is a unique rural program located in Rolling Hills Public School in Bethany. We are licensed for children 18 months to 12 years. We offer before and after school, part day, full day and sporadic care.
Home Child Care, the original foundation of Kawartha Child Care Services, opened in 1981. We contract caring, qualified, self-employed individuals to provide child care in their own homes for up to 5 children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. These homes are located throughout the City of Kawartha Lakes. Home Child Care offers a flexible, intimate service to families with sporadic schedules, working shifts, or who may want a smaller group environment for their children.
